OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MAY 26, 2026–The road to one of the biggest weekends in Oklahoma Quarter Horse racing begins Friday night at Remington Park as the spotlight turns to the $100,000 Heritage Place Juvenile. The twelve-race card launches the meet’s end-of-stakes action, bringing together the second ten fastest qualifiers from the massive Heritage Place Futurity Trials held May 7th and 8th. With 232 juveniles competing over two nights of trials, these ten talented two-year-olds earned their place back under the bright lights for the 350-yard feature scheduled at approximately 10:57 PM.
Leading the field is the 5-2 morning-line favorite Konklusive, who enters off an eye-catching trial victory, powering away by one and a quarter lengths to secure the second-fastest qualifying time in the Heritage Place Juvenile. The gelding has looked nothing short of impressive in his first two career starts, opening with a sharp maiden victory in March before returning with another dominant performance in the trials. The rising Texas-Bred star has already earned $22,140 and appears to be gaining confidence with every stride.
Owned by Bobby D. Cox, Konklusive is a son of Jess Different out of the Corona Cartel mare All N the Jeans. Trainer Juan L. Vazquez will send him from post two, with leading rider James A. Flores returning aboard as the pair looks to keep their perfect record intact.
Standing in his way is Striking Favorite, the filly who posted the fastest qualifying time for the Heritage Place Juvenile after an explosive trial victory by one and three-quarter lengths. She delivered one of the most impressive performances in the trials, surging clear late and showing another gear when asked. Prior to the trials, she hinted at her ability with a strong late rally in her maiden prep race, finishing third.
The Oklahoma-Bred daughter of Favorite Cartel races for owners Robyn Gordon, Verle Bohner, and Doug Klaassen and has already banked $12,596 in just two starts. Out of the High Rate of Return mare Striking Perfection, Striking Favorite was bred by James Daniel Beck and is trained by Kasey Willis. She will break from the rail under jockey Gonzalo Gutierrez as she looks to establish herself as one of the meet's emerging stars.
Depth and talent fill the entire field, with every juvenile entering Friday night having finished on the board in both of their career starts. For many, this will be only their third lifetime outing, but the grueling Heritage Place trials have already tested these young runners against some of the toughest competition in the country.
The Heritage Place weekend annually delivers some of the most prestigious racing in the state of Oklahoma, and Friday night’s Juvenile sets the tone for the excitement still to come. Fans, bettors, owners, breeders, and horsemen alike will pack the grandstand as another group of promising young stars looks to make their mark on one of Quarter Horse racing’s biggest stages.
