The first post is set for 12:00 PM, with stakes action beginning in the eighth race.

The eighth race of the day will kick off the stakes program with the 350-yard $80,704 Mystery Derby Final, scheduled to go to post at approximately 3:44 PM. Three-year-old filly Flying Nova 123 headlines the field as the morning-line favorite at 3-1 odds after setting the fastest qualifying time in the trials. She captured this year’s $15,000 Golden Drillers Stakes and followed that with an open allowance win, positioning herself for a strong finish to the season.

The Oklahoma-bred homebred filly is by Flying Cowboy 123 and out of Sr Shegone by Mighty B Valiant, bred and owned by Rick and Connie Dickson. Trained by Jesus Ruben Ruiz, she will break from post seven under leading rider Roman Cruz.

Trainer Jason L. Olmstead enters three contenders in the finale, led by Relentless Purrsuit, the 7-2 second choice on the morning line. The Hes Relentless gelding was the third-fastest qualifier and already boasts wins in the $118,000 Prairie Meadows Gold Derby and a Heritage Place Derby trial earlier this year.

Owned and bred by Charles and Elizabeth Horton, Relentless Purrsuit has seven wins and earnings of $171,132. He will start from post nine with Ramiro H. Garcia aboard. Ten Oklahoma-bred three-year-olds will line up to contest the 350-yard event, setting the tone for an exciting afternoon of championship racing.

The ninth race will feature the  $512,268 RG3 Black Gold Fillies Futurity Championship at 400 yards, showcasing the top ten fastest two-year-old fillies.
