HEMET, CA–DECEMBER 15, 2022–Favorite Cartel Jr SI 90, a son of leading sire Favorite Cartel, will begin his stallion career in 2023 at MTY Equine Services in Hemet, California. His fee has been set at $950.

Owned by Joel Saucedo, Favorite Cartel Jr. won or placed in six of 12 career starts and earned $13,803.

"Do to multiple injuries during his racing career, Favorite Cartel Jr could not fully perform at full capacity," Saucedo said.

His sire Favorite Cartel SI 104 is a Grade 1 winning son of former Thoroughbred Horse of the Year Favorite Trick. Favorite Cartel earned $607,669 and won the Bank of America Challenge Championship(G1), etc.  In only eight crops to race, he has sired 4 champions, 98 stakes winners, 572 winners with earnings of over $36 million.
