MEXICO CITY, MX—AUGUST 2, 2026—Ten trials were contested over two days, August 1-2, at Hipódromo de las Américas to determine the field for the $182,812 Subasta Selecta Futurity-RG2. Peligrosita Eagle recorded the fastest qualifying time among the 10 finalists who will return August 23 for the 350-yard final.

A strong tailwind on day two played a major role in the qualifying times. Four of the five qualifiers from Sunday's card were fillies, and they recorded the four fastest times overall. Day-one fastest qualifier Kc Nocturno was the only horse to break up the top five posted on Sunday.

Ridden by Jose Manuel Cisneros, Peligrosita Eagle took full advantage of the favorable conditions, breaking her maiden with the fastest qualifying time of :17.283. She led from gate to wire and drew away to win by 2¼ lengths while earning a 95 speed index.

Trainer Baltazar Aguilar saddled the daughter of Mr Eagle Master for owner Rancho M Gonzalez. Bred by Abelardo Gallegos Fernandez, Peligrosita Eagle is out of Peligrosita by Walk Thru Fire. The victory was her first in six starts and improved her record to one win and one second with earnings of $11,500.

Dk Reyna De Oro secured the second-fastest qualifying time after winning the third trial on day two in :17.373. The filly races for owner Cuadra La Presita and trainer Victor Jarillo Sanchez.

Alejandro Gomez Lopez guided Dk Reyna De Oro to her third victory from four career starts. The daughter of Bullish One was bred by Rancho El Pirul out of Mis Princesa Gold by One Famous Eagle. She entered the trials off a runner-up finish in the Futurity Garañones Consolation and has earned nearly $14,000.

Kc Star Krash continued her consistent season with an impressive 2¾-length victory in the opening trial Sunday under jockey Carlos Gomez, stopping the clock in :17.403 while earning a 92 speed index and the third fastest time. The filly races for owner Cuadra La Diamantina and is conditioned by Alejandro Gutierrez Lopez.

The daughter of Krash Cartel has hit the board in all five starts with a record of two wins, two seconds and one third, including a victory in the Futurity Garañones Consolation in her previous start. Her earnings now exceed $12,000. Kc Star Krash was bred by Abelardo Gallegos Fernandez, out of Estrella De Noche by Favorite Cartel.

She is a full sister to Kc Nocturno, who, after setting the pace on day one, held on to the fifth-fastest qualifying time overall with a :17.437 effort. The gelding races for owner Cuadra San Martin and trainer Luis Enrique Cruz Solis.

Leonardo Vidana guided Kc Nocturno to a front-running 1½-length victory while earning a 91 speed index. He has won three of six starts with one second and nearly $44,000 in earnings. He entered the trials off a fourth-place finish in the Futurity Garañones after finishing second in the Mexico Futurity earlier this season behind fellow qualifier and stablemate Dk Mirnalda.

Dk Francia broke her maiden in the second trial on day two, winning by 2¾ lengths while posting the fourth-fastest qualifying time of :17.435 and earning a 91 speed index. The filly races for owner Cuadra La Presita and is trained by Luis Enrique Cruz Solis. Leonardo Vidana had the riding assignment.
