SHELBYVILLE, IN—JUNE 25, 2026—J F Racing Stables LLC's Wyld Over Corona posted the fastest qualifying time from the opening day of the Jaguar Rocket Futurity trials Thursday night at Horseshoe Indianapolis, stopping the clock in 17.766, a 93 speed index, while dominating the second trial by three lengths.
Originally scheduled for four trials, track management canceled the final two divisions due to track conditions. Those races have been rescheduled for Monday, June 29, when the remaining entrants will compete for the final five spots in the $136,200 Jaguar Rocket Futurity, which will be contested Saturday, July 18, at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
Rather than advancing the 10 fastest qualifiers from Thursday's program, the five fastest qualifiers from Thursday and the five fastest qualifiers from Monday's rescheduled trials will comprise the 10-horse field.
Trained by Tim Eggleston, Wyld Over Corona broke sharply under Luis Eduardo Luna Diaz, quickly opened daylight, and was never threatened while earning the day's fastest clocking. The bay gelding is by champion and Grade 1 sire Kvn Corona out of Jess Over Yonder, by Apollitical Jess. He was bred in Indiana by J F Racing Stables LLC, which also owns the gelding. Wyld Over Corona defeated Ap Jess Im A D by three lengths in his trial.

He is by world champion sire Freighttrain B out of Apollitical Tools, by Apollitical Jess. Apollitical Twin C surged late to break his maiden while defeating Cyber Dash by one-half length.
Cyber Dash secured the third-fastest qualifying mark of 18.165 after finishing second in the opening trial. The gelding is owned by Leanne Lalone, Curt Lalone, Pattie Marshall and Craig Zeneberg, bred by Arkofa Farm, trained by Anthony F. Cunningham, and ridden by Isidro Banuelos. He is by leading third-crop sire Cyber Monday out of Shes So Valiant, by Valiant Hero. Cyber Dash closed willingly but was outfinished by Apollitical Twin C.
Cat Five Kate recorded the fourth-fastest qualifying time of 18.180 after setting the pace before being caught late in the first trial. The filly is owned and trained by Anthony F. Cunningham, bred by Keith Bode, and ridden by Luz Daniel Martinez. She is by champion Five Bar Cartel out of Kt Perry, by Mr Jess Perry. Rounding out Thursday's advancing group was Mr Nasty, whose 18.255 clocking earned the fifth-fastest qualifying time of the evening. Owned and bred by Bradley D. Lewis, the colt is trained by Ron Raper and was ridden by Cristian Penaloza.
Mr Nasty is by Ivory James out of Pt Special Eyeopener, by Mr Eye Opener. He raced prominently early before weakening to finish fourth in the opening trial. Mr Nasty was a $15,300 repurchase in last year's QHRAI Stallion Service Sale.
