JEROME, ID–JUNE 21, 2026–Faithfuly and jockey Oscar Villa won the $30,000 Roche Equine Veterinary Services Futurity at Jerome County Fair on June 21.
Faithfuly broke sharply from the outside post and led throughout the 330-yard final. Wacky Wednesday rallied from fourth at the start to challenge the leader and closed strongly in the final yards, but came up one-half length short.
Faithfuly stopped the clock in 16.884 seconds and earned a 91 speed index. Wacky Wednesday finished second in 16.963 seconds with an 89 speed index, while fastest qualifier Easter Spcle Miracle was another neck back in third after a troubled start, posting a time of 16.996 seconds and an 88 speed index.
The sorrel filly is owned by Steve Wright, Gregg Gibson and Linda Arrossa and trained by Jarrett Mills. Bred by Monty Arrossa, she is sired by champion and champion sire FDD Dynasty and out of the One Sweet Jess mare Doing Trix. The victory was her second consecutive win from three career starts and increased her earnings to $16,265.
Wacky Wednesday and jockey Jose Garcia-Segura finished second for owner-breeder LG Racing LLC and trainer Abelardo Gonzalez.
The gelding is sired by Apollitical Blood and out of the Sir Runaway Dash mare Runaway Witch. Wacky Wednesday improved his record to four starts with two wins and earnings of $12,440. He entered the June 7 trials off a third-place effort in the Pocatello Downs Spring Futurity.
Fastest qualifier Easter Spcle Miracle and jockey Luis Collazo finished third. The sorrel filly is a homebred racing for owner-breeder Raul Rosas and trainer Abelardo Gonzalez. Sired by Easter Special Rosas and out of the Buzz Word mare Bma Lake Van, she now has one win and one third-place finish with earnings of $4,500.
Iconic Finale finished fourth under Ricardo Del Cid for owner Rachel Hoppman and trainer Sergio Canales. Tillys Kiss Of Power was fifth, followed by Yr Maple James, El Dorion and Pevs Ima Lazajane.
