MEXICO CITY, MX–MAY 3, 2026–Dk Mirnalda delivered another victory for owner Cuadra San Martin and trainer Luis Enrique Cruz Solis on Sunday in the $207,000 Mexico Futurity (RG3) at the Hipodromo de las Americas,

The victory that gave Cuadra San Martin its third major stakes win of the evening. The powerhouse stable had already taken the Garanones Derby with El Ilusionista Sr and the Futurity Consolation with KC Royal Queen, and completed the night with a sweep of the trifecta in the headline event.

The undefeated filly, making just her second career start, secured the winner’s share of $87,000, on a sloppy track and covering 250 yards in 13.17 seconds.

Breaking cleanly under jockey Nestor Duran, Dk Mirnalda showed poise from the start and carried her speed all the way to the wire. The daughter of Danny Cartel was allowed to settle into her stride early before asserting herself late, holding firm as challengers tried to close in the final strides.

“We didn’t have any trouble, I just let her loose when we were warming up,” Duran said. “The track was bad, it had been raining, so I wanted her to feel comfortable. She rode well. I was waiting for her to break, expecting her to break, and she did her job—we got the win.”

Bred by Cuadra La Presita, Dk Mirnalda is out of Wl Shez To Fantastic by Fantastic Corona Jr. The filly advanced from the trials as the second-fastest qualifier and has now pushed her earnings to $91,000.

Stablemate Kc Nocturno completed the exacta to give the Cuadra San Martin racing team a strong one-two finish. The gelding, a son of Krash Cartel, closed willingly but could not match the winner’s finishing kick. He is out of Estrella De Noche by Favorite Cartel, bred by Abelardo Gallegos.

Also conditioned by Luis Enrique Cruz Solis, Kc Nocturno was ridden by Paul Osvaldo Rodriguez and now holds earnings of $41,000.

Dk Chispada Two finished third after entering the final as the fastest qualifier from the April 11 trials. Bred by Cuadra La Presita, the filly is by Bullish One and out of Chispita Two by Danny Cartel.

Racing for Cuadra Guillen, she is trained by Juan Jose Razo and was guided by Alejandro Gomez. Despite a solid effort, she could not reproduce the same sharp performance that earned her top qualifying honors.

The Mexico Futurity capped a banner evening for Cuadra San Martin, whose trio of major victories underscored a powerful presence on one of the country’s biggest race nights.
