PONTA PORA, BRAZIL–MARCH 2, 2026– At the Jockey Club de Ponta Porã, one of the most historic horse racing tracks in South America, the Grande Prêmio Fronteira Horse Show – MS Gran Prix was contested, bringing together colts and fillies from the 2023 foal crop.
The race was run over 330 yards (301 meters), offering a total purse of R$150,000 (approximately US$29,250), and was divided into three trials, with only the winners advancing to the final.
The fastest qualifying time was recorded by the filly Turbulência Lake, winner of Trial 3 and bred by the outstanding Haras Finlândia, who stopped the clock in 16.912 seconds.
Fishers Hawk FS (winner of the second trial) posted 16.948, while Índia Poderosa (winner of Trial 1) recorded 16.934. The following day, the trio met in the decisive final in search of the title.
Ridden by young Paraguayan jockey Roney Diana, Fishers Hawk FS delivered a dominant performance throughout the race, becoming a champion in just the second start of his career. One month earlier, he had been a stakes finalist at the same venue. This time, he lifted the trophy while clocking 16.868 seconds.

“We have already purchased his siblings for next year,” revealed the horseman, who also highlighted the excellent works his trainee had been showing since the first training sessions.
Bred by FS Racing, Fishers Hawk FS is owned by Stud Bom Futuro, which acquired him in 2025 for R$60,000 (approximately US$11,700). The champion is out of Painted Fishers, a Fishers Dash mare and daughter of the outstanding producer Painted Veil B.
