Ivory Macho Man Leads Qualifiers for Grade 2 $421,500 Dash For Cash Futurity

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—SEPTEMBER 13, 2025—Ten trials for the Grade 2, $421,500 Dash For Cash Futurity were contested Saturday at Lone Star Park, with the ten fastest qualifiers advancing to the 400-yard final on Saturday, October 4.

Leading the list of finalists was Ivory Macho Man, who posted the fastest qualifying time of the evening.

Ivory Macho Man, a gelded son of second-crop sire Kj Mucho Macho Man out of the Ivory James mare Alondra Grace, drew two lengths clear in the fifth trial to win by open lengths in a clocking of 19.519, a 98 speed index into a 4 mph headwind.

Ridden by Juan Pulido for trainer Jose E. Gamez, the Oklahoma-bred runner is owned and bred by Rito Sosa. Ivory Macho Man has shown steady improvement through his juvenile campaign and now looms as the horse to beat in the lucrative final. A winner of three of four starts he has banked $37,254.

Wynston delivered the second-fastest clocking of the trials when he dominated the ninth division in 19.662, a 94 speed index into a one mph crosswind.

A Texas-bred gelding by champion sire Kiss My Hocks out of All About Tonight, by Carters Cartel, Wynston is owned by Jungers Farm Partnership along with Robert and Renee Reynolds.

Marc E. Jungers conditions the runner, who M & M Jungers and R & R Reynolds bred. Christian Ramos guided Wynston to the wire with authority, securing his spot as a major contender in the final. He has compiled a (6) 2-1-1 record and earned $22,484. Wynston was a finalist in the Ruidoso QH Juvenile Stakes last June.

Unleeshed, a bay gelding by world champion sire Freighttrain B out of Thermonuclear Energy, by Walk Thru Fire, posted the third-fastest qualifying time when he surged late to win the final trial in 19.667.

Bred in Texas by AQHA Racing Champion breeder Bobby D. Cox, Unleeshed was a $78,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale purchase in 2024 and races for Orona Racing LLC.

Angel Sanchez trains, with Luis Angel Flores-Garcia riding in the trials. Unleeshed has won his last three races, including trials for the Rainbow and All American Futurity.

The Dash For Cash Futurity final will be run on Saturday, October 4, at Lone Star Park. It offers a purse of $421,500 for 2-year-olds at 400 yards.

With Ivory Macho Man, Wynston, and Unleeshed leading the list of qualifiers, the upcoming final promises a high-caliber showdown among some of the Southwest’s most talented juveniles.
