Under jockey Victor Urieta, Jr., she's Ec To Tempt posted the fastest time from eight trial races contested at Delta Downs tonight for the $185,865 Big Easy Futurity.

VINTON, LA–AUGUST 8, 2025–Francisco Javier Garcia’s filly Shes Ec to Tempt ($5.80) recorded the fastest qualifying time for this year’s $185,865 Big Easy Futurity at Delta Downs. The track hosted a total of eight trials during its Friday night program.

Under jockey Victor Urieta, Jr., Shes Ec to Tempt won the final trial of the night by dominating eight rivals in the 350-yard test for 2-year-olds.

The Patrick Clemons trainee covered the distance over a wet-fast track in a time of 17.749 seconds, which equaled a speed index of 91.

The victory was the second in a row for the brown daughter of Tempting Dash, out of the Ec Jet One mare Kas Shes Ec. She was bred in Texas by her owner.

Each Big Easy Futurity trial carried a purse of $5,000, and the winner’s share was $3,000 each. That paycheck raised She Ec to Tempt's bankroll to $12,900.

Delta Downs will host a special nine-race program starting at 6:10 pm on Saturday night. The entire card will feature qualifying trials for this year’s $534,640 LQHBA Sale Futurity.
