PHOENIX, AZ–APRIL 11–2025–Ten juveniles emerged from two trials on Thursday to return to the $51,680 AQRA Turf Paradise Presidents Open Futurity. Invinsable stood his ground over the favorite Bf Dulce Sin Rage for the fastest qualifying time to the finals on May 3.
Jockey Luis Valenzuela received the riding call aboard Invisable after securing a win in his Maiden start on March 24 at Turf Paradise. The son of world champion sire FDD Dynasty remains undefeated after winning his trial heat by a neck over Bf Dulce Sin Rage, who clocked the second-fastest time.
On a fast track with zero wind, Invinsable led from gate to wire, clocking an 85-speed index in 15.948 seconds. The 300-yard effort paid $5.00 to win on 7-5 odds. The $4,960 payday boosted his earnings to $15,160 and improved his record to two for two.
Ralph and Carrie Fales bred and own Invinsable in Arizona. The Matt Fales trained gelding is out of Absolutelly by Texas Icon.
Runner-up Bf Dulce Sin Rage was ridden by Kevin Carbajal to his second-place finish, clocking the second-fastest time to beat in 15.972 seconds. The son of leading freshman sire Dulce Sin Tacha has yet to break his maiden from two starts.
David Williams trains Bf Dulce Sin Rage for owners J Lazy Six Racing. Kevin Birrell bred the $52,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate in Utah out of Bf Fooserageous by Foose.
Rue, who is also owned by J Lazy Six Racing, won the first trial of the set, clocking the third fastest time with an 81-speed index in 16.068 seconds. Trained by David Williams, the daughter of Flying Cowboy 123 broke her maiden on March 18 at Turf Paradise under jockey Noe Garcia Jr, who returned for the mount in the trials.
The daughter of leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 has accrued $14,910, remaining undefeated from two starts. Bred by Ed Smith, Rue is a $60,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate out of the Corona Cartel mare First Caroline Rose.
