OGDEN, UT–APRIL 5, 2025–Dnc Dynasty got his second career win while posting the fastest time from two trials contested for the Utah Bred Derby at Weber Downs Saturday afternoon.
The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to Ogen racetrack on April 27 to vie for the winner's share of $35,425 purse going 330 yards.
Dnc Dynasty broke his maiden nearly a year ago at Weber when he won the Hadley Giles Invitational (not black type). Ridden by jockey Jose Olivo today, he posted a three-quarter-length victory while stopping the timer in 16.599 seconds, a 102-speed index with a 5 mph tailwind.

Sergio Canales trains the son of Duponte for owner-breeder W3 Farms. Bred from the FDD Dynasty mare Dinastia Rose, Dnc Dynasty has earned $12,720 in six career starts.
A Jazzy Tres Seis won the opening trial by a head to get the fifth fastest clocking of 16.813 seconds, a 95-speed index with a 5 mph tailwind.
Also, from the Canales and another homebred for W3 Farms, A Jazzy Tres Seis is a daughter of leading sire Tres Sis from the Bono Jazz mare Piper's Tune. She has earned $16,971 in eight starts. Jesus Canales had the riding call.
