Cyber Monday Opens 2026 Season With Multiple Graded Stakes Qualifiers
Cm Jessa Blue Monday and Chin Up Buttercup became graded stakes qualifiers for first-crop sire Cyber Monday to open the 2026 season, advancing to the Los Alamitos Oaks (G1) and Oklahoma Futurity (G2) finals.

Cyber Monday Opens 2026 Season With Multiple Graded Stakes Qualifiers

GUTHRIE, OK–MARCH 9, 2026–Second-crop sire Cyber Monday kicked off the 2026 season with a pair of graded stakes qualifiers on Saturday as Cm Jessa Blue Monday and Chin Up Buttercup secured spots in major futurity and derby finals.

Cm Jessa Blue Monday qualified to the $450,000-estimated Los Alamitos Oaks (G1) after posting a :20.070 trial win under Ruben Lozano. Trained by Luke Lindsey for owner-breeder Randy Dickerson, the three-year-old filly is out of Cool Blue Corona by Jess Louisiana Blue.

She scored her second career win in the trial and now owns two victories from five starts heading into the March 28 final.

Chin Up Buttercup earned her first career victory in impressive fashion, going gate to wire and drawing off by three lengths under Roman Cruz to qualify for the $435,395 Oklahoma Futurity (G2) final on March 21.

The bay filly is trained by Dee Keener. Bred and owned by Kelly Yother Equine, LLC, Chin Up Buttercup is out of the Tres Seis mare Wind Me Up Buttercup.

Cyber Monday added another qualifier on March 9 when Chillaxxin advanced to the AQRA Presidents Open Spring Derby. The three-year-old gelding was ridden by Gabriel Medrano for trainer Carlos Flores and will start in the finals on March 30.

Bred by Butch and Stephanie Webb, Chillaxxin is out of Reina Madre by Apollitical Jess.

Cyber Monday’s first crop made an immediate impact in 2025, siring more than $1 million in earnings with nearly $17,000 average earnings per starter.

That crop already includes six black-type runners, with his top money earners including Cyber Courage SI 93 ($130,624, 2nd Desert Classic Derby), Entice Me Ona Monday SI 103 ($92,261), Cyber Command III SI 93 ($87,303), Atsi Monday SI 90 ($73,616, 2nd Valley Junction Futurity-G3), Cyber Sass SI 95 ($65,152, 2nd EVD Futurity-G2) and Run On Monday SI 96 ($54,200).

Cyber Monday was a standout on the track, winning four of five starts at Ruidoso as a two-year-old, including the $1,000,000 Ruidoso Futurity (G1). He later finished fourth in the $1,000,000 Rainbow Futurity (G1) and was a finalist in the Rainbow QH Invitational, earning $528,428 from nine career starts.

Bred in California by Steve D. Burns, DVM, Cyber Monday is by leading sire Favorite Cartel ($607,669). He is out of Remember Me Rose ($820,895) by Corona Cartel. An AQHA Dam of Distinction, Remember Me Rose has produced 21 winners, including five Grade 1 winners and 13 black-type runners.

Cyber Monday is a full brother to Bomb Cyclone SI 104 ($1,379,291), Powerful Effort SI 103 ($1,226,875), Cyber Attack SI 101 ($1,151,917) and Runforyourlife SI 96 ($620,822).
