OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–JANUARY 29, 2026 – Time is running out to participate in the Sam Thompson Memorial Foundation’s third annual online stallion service auction, which closes tomorrow, January 30 at 6:00 p.m. PST.
The auction, which opened January 2, offers breeders and owners the opportunity to secure 2026 breedings to many of the sport’s leading stallions, while directly supporting scholarships for members of the horse racing community.
All bidding is conducted online. Highest bidders will be notified immediately at the close of the auction. Payments will be collected, and stallion farms will be notified once payment has processed, typically within 48 hours.

The online stallion service auction includes opportunities to bid on leading sires such as A Revenant, A Sweet Jess, Aint He Tempting, Apollitcal Victory, B Cause Im A Hero, Big Lew, Bodacious Dash, Carters Cartel, Chilitos, Constituent, Corona Surfer, Coronado Cartel, Cyber Monday, Cuz Lightyear, Eagles Fly Higher, Electrifyng Cowboy, Eos A Political Win, FDD Going Grand, First Texas Flash, Gold Heart Eagle V, Heart Of The Cartel, Hes Innocent, In Hott Pursuit, Just Dulce, Kempton, Kvn Corona, Leathalcartelfavorite, Mr Piloto, Muddy Watters, Power Jam (TB), PYC Fun N Fancy, RC Me Leaving You, San Lencho, San Lorenzo, Separatist, Uncle D, Unrelentless, and Visa.
Funds raised through this event will be allocated directly to scholarships for members of the horse racing community. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $675,000 in scholarships in recent years to help recipients pursue their education and career goals. This auction also provides a strong opportunity for horsemen nationwide to secure 2026 breedings to many of the sport’s leading stallions.
All donated stallions will be featured on the Foundation website and auction page and promoted at upcoming Foundation events. Where available, each stallion listing will include a link to the stallion’s StallionESearch page to provide additional information. If a StallionESearch page is not available, the Foundation will provide the best information possible.
Any special or additional information regarding specific breedings will be listed on each stallion’s auction page. Buyers are responsible for any additional expenses charged by the stallion farm, which may include farm fees, chute fees, shipping fees, and other applicable charges.
Registration and bidding information
All bidders must register on the website before placing a bid. A credit card is required to bid; all information will be kept secure and encrypted. Bidders will receive email and/or SMS notifications if they have been outbid or if they have won a breeding.
At the close of the auction, bidders may pay by credit card (processing fee applies), or contact the Foundation within 48 hours to arrange payment by wire transfer or check (no processing fee).
