WHEELOCK, TX–JULY 07, 2025–The 2025 leading freshman sire Dulce Sin Tacha arrived today at his new home, Granada Farms, where he will stand for the 2026 breeding season. The Texas-based stallion station is proud to welcome the two-time AQHA Champion to their distinguished roster.
Coy Dolan, Granada Farms General Manager stated, “We are extremely blessed to add such an incredible stallion to our roster. I’d like to thank the Gaston’s for allowing Granada Farms such an incredible opportunity!
Bred and raised by Bob and Jerry Gaston, Dulce Sin Tacha began his stallion career at Lazy E Ranch. The Gastons have now relocated him to Granada Farms in Wheelock, Texas—just a short drive from their home in Seguin—allowing them to visit the standout sire more frequently.

With over $1 million in progeny earnings to date, Dulce Sin Tacha stands alone at the top of the 2025 freshman sire list. He is the only first-year sire to surpass the million-dollar mark, with no other freshman stallion approaching his earnings. The son of Jess Good Candy has sired 67 starters and 24 winners, including two stakes winners and five graded stakes-placed runners. His foals are averaging over $15,100 per starter.
His leading earner, Jamies Sin Tacha SI 99, claimed the restricted Grade 1 Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity earlier this year, banking $356,082. Another of his top runners, Preying N Sinning, captured the West Texas Juvenile Stakes and has earnings of $97,280.
Other notable black type earners by Dulce Sin Tacha include Flawless Grace SI 96, who finished second in the Grade 2 Sam Houston Futurity with $161,635 in earnings, and Ding Dang Dulce SI 90, who ran second in the Grade 3 Laico Bird Stakes.
Dulce Sin Tacha has a big weekend ahead. On Sunday, July 13, three of his progeny—Merkaba, Sinnin Double, and Apolitical Valor—are entered in the $1,000,000 Rainbow Futurity [G1] finals. He is the only freshman sire represented by three finalists in the Grade 1 race. Earlier this summer, he was also the only first-year sire with qualifiers to the Grade 1 $1,000,000 Ruidoso QH Futurity, including Dee Favorite Tacha, who posted the fastest qualifying time on Day 2, along with the aforementioned Preying N Sinning.
During his race career, Dulce Sin Tacha won eight of 11 starts for the Gastons, including victories in the Texas Classic Futurity [G1] and the All American Quarter Horse Invitational Stakes. He also finished second in the Rainbow Derby [G1] and the All American Juvenile Stakes. He earned a total of $693,689 and was honored as the AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old Colt in 2020 and 3-Year-Old Colt in 2021.
Dulce Sin Tacha is out of the Tempting Dash mare Prissy Sin Tacha, who earned $133,256 and placed in the $1,151,777 Texas Classic Futurity [G1]. She is a half-sister to World Champion Streakin Sin Tacha, a 16-time winner and four-time Grade 1 victor who amassed $693,842 in career earnings.
His second dam, Miss Sin Tacha by Mr Jess Perry, ran third in the Heritage Place Futurity [G1] and went on to produce Viva Mi Corazon, a winner of the Los Alamitos Winter Derby [G1] and runner-up in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity [G1], with lifetime earnings of $603,581.
Dulce Sin Tacha's third dam is the prolific "Blue Hen" mare Sin Tacha (TB), a daughter of Seattle Slew's son Slew's Royalty. She is the producer of over $1.1 million in earners.
His 2026 breeding fee will be announced at a later date. For additional information, contact Coy Dolan, Farm Manager, at 979-828-5167 or email granadafarms@granadafarms.com.
