VINTON, LA–AUGUST 29, 2025–Fastest qualifier Shes Ec To Tempt proved best again Friday night, surging late to capture the $185,865 Big Easy Futurity at Delta Downs.

Shes Ec To Tempt stopped the clock in 17.738 seconds for 350 yards under jockey Victor Urieta Jr., earning a 91 speed index and the winner’s share of $92,933. The 350-yard effort paid $5.40 to win.

Owned and bred in Texas by Francisco Javier Garza, Shes Ec To Tempt is out of the Ec Jet One mare Kas Shes Ec. The daughter of Tempting Dash is trained by Patrick Clemons and was a $23,000 repurchase at the 2024 TQHA Yearling Sale.

Shes Ec To Tempt has now won three consecutive races from four career starts, her only defeat coming in her maiden debut where she finished second. The Big Easy Futurity victory boosted her bankroll to $105,833 from four starts.

Jlc Show Time, a daughter of Ss Samson, held the lead before being edged out in the final strides and finished a neck back in second. Jose Herbert piloted the Texas-bred filly for trainer Jesus Lira and owner Esteban Lopez.

Jlc Show Time is out of One Sweet Master by One Sweet Jess, was bred by John Louis Chamberlain and sold for $5,000 at the 2024 TQHA Yearling Sale. Runner-up earnings of $31,597 pushed her lifetime total to $48,207 from five starts.

Political Looker completed the trifecta, finishing another half-length behind. Bryan Candanosa rode the daughter of Corona Cartel for trainer David Bustamante and owner Chance Kiehne.

Bred in Utah by McColee Land & Livestock LLC, Political Looker is out of Looks Political by Apollitical Jess and was a $37,000 purchase at the 2024 Heritage Place Yearling Sale. The third-place effort added $18,587 to her record, raising her career earnings to $24,907 from five starts.

Rational Tlc, Carlos Sainz, Jess Transcendent, Lrh Henry T, Carteron the Fly, Tk Eyema Struttin, and Its Tarzan complete the order of finish.
