KINDER, LA—AUGUST 3, 2024—StallioneSearch.com concludes its webcast reporting from the 2025 LQHBA Yearling Sale at Coushatta Casino & Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, with a video highlighting the top-selling yearlings from Saturday’s session.
The recap includes footage of the four highest-priced yearlings who sold during Day 2.
LQHBA reported that 415 of the 497 yearlings offered were sold, generating a total of $7,015,700. That figure is slightly below last year’s gross of $7,172,900. The average across both days came in at $16,905, and the median price was $11,000.
Leading Consignors by Gross:
- Robicheaux Ranch Inc., Agent sold 37 head for $952,000.
- Grant Farms, LLC sold 27 yearlings for $631,500.
- Tate Farms LLC, Agent moved 43 head totaling $588,200.
Leading Sires by Average (2+ sold):
- Apollitical Blood had 21 yearlings average $43,952.
- Freighttrain B followed with 41 at $31,366.
- Ivory James sold 29 for an average of $25,328.
Among juvenile sires overall, Inspyre led the group with 6 head averaging $12,083.
