Hall of Fame jockey Tami Purcell-Burklund joins host Greg Thompson on Episode 74 of QH Racing Talk–Weekly to reflect on her historic career.

DALLAS, TX–AUGUST 13, 2026– QH Racing Talk–Weekly welcomes the most accomplished female jockey in Quarter Horse racing history, Hall of Fame jockey Tami Purcell-Burklund, for a look back at her remarkable career and some of the legendary horses she rode along the way.

In Episode 74, host Greg Thompson visits with Purcell-Burklund about how her career as a jockey began, the challenges and successes she experienced along the way, and the accomplished horses she had the opportunity to ride. The episode also features Hall of Fame racing analyst Tom Dawson and Yancye Guymon, who join Thompson to discuss their takeaways from last weekend's trial races at Albuquerque Downs for the All American Futurity (G1), All American Derby (G1), and All American Oaks (G1).

Guymon returns later in the program to preview upcoming AQHA Challenge events at Prairie Meadows in Iowa, along with a look ahead to the Mile High Futurity at Arapahoe Park.
