Retama Park will host its annual Stars & Stripes Spectacular on July 4 featuring live music, family activities, local vendors, pony rides and a 21-minute fireworks show presented by University Health Retama Hospital.

SELMA, TX–MAY 27, 2026—Retama Park will celebrate Independence Day with its annual “Stars & Stripes Spectacular” on Friday, July 4, featuring an evening of family entertainment capped by a 21-minute fireworks display.

The free community event will include live music, foot races, pony rides, local vendors, and family-friendly activities throughout the evening. Fireworks are presented by University Health Retama Hospital.

Organizers are encouraging families to avoid crowded public viewing areas and enjoy a more convenient holiday experience at Retama Park, with easier access and on-site activities for all ages.

Please note there will be no live horse racing conducted on July 4.
