Children ages 3 to 5 participate in horse-themed crafts, games, and storytelling during the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum’s monthly Foal & Friends program in Amarillo, Texas.

AMARILLO, TX, MARCH 13, 2026—The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum will host Foal & Friends, a program where children ages 3 to 5 can explore playful, horse-themed activities designed to support preschool development.

According to event organizers, activities range from movement games that mimic how horses run and play to hands-on crafts and storytelling. Each session encourages creativity, empathy, and personal growth. Young learners will build important developmental skills while discovering the many ways horses continue to inspire and teach, even off the saddle.

Horse-themed activities change each month to provide new experiences for returning participants.

Foal & Friends takes place on the last Friday of each month at 10 a.m. Children age 5 and under are admitted free, while adult admission is $10.
