KQHRA Announces Full Schedule for 2026 Annual Convention.

PARK CITY, KANSAS–JANUARY 20, 2026–The Kansas Quarter Horse Racing Association (KQHRA) will host its 2026 Annual Convention and Awards on Saturday, January 31, at Golden Circle Casino – Gilley’s in Park City, Kansas. The event will bring together members, families, friends, and horsemen for a full day of meetings, updates, recognition, and entertainment.

Schedule of Events:

(All times are approximate but will not begin earlier than listed)

• 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – Board of Directors Meeting (Party Room, 3rd Floor)
• 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. – Break
• 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. – Annual Membership Meeting (Party Room, 3rd Floor)
• 5:15 – 5:45 p.m. – Late Registration for Dinner
• 5:45 – 7:00 p.m. – Dinner & Drinks
• 7:00 p.m. – Speakers and Awards Program (Party Room, 3rd Floor)

The KQHRA Stallion Service Auction will continue throughout the day and evening, with computers available on site to allow attendees to continue bidding during the convention.

Dinner reservations are required, and attendees are asked to RSVP by January 28, including the number of guests, names, and meal selections. Dinner options include $20 pulled pork & chicken or $24 brisket & chicken, with two sides included. RSVPs may be submitted by email to ksqhra.26rsvp@gmail.com or by phone or text at 620-750-0118.

Payment may be made upon arrival at the convention. Accepted forms include check, cash, or credit card. A 4% convenience fee applies to credit card transactions, and sales tax is not included in the meal price.

A photo booth will be available highlighting the theme “Racing Under Construction / Returning to Kansas.” Attendees are also encouraged to explore the wide range of entertainment options at Golden Circle Casino and Gilley’s, including HHR machines, simulcast horse racing, axe throwing, mechanical bull riding, arcade games, miniature bowling, golf simulators, multiple bars, and live music. Neon Prophets will perform beginning at 9:00 p.m., and the casino will give away a 2026 Chevy Trail Boss truck at 10:00 p.m. on January 31.
