PDJF 2026 Great American QH Stallion Season Auction Opens January 19

By StallioneSearch

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY–JANUARY 16, 2026– With the 2026 breeding season approaching and books already closed on two of the industry’s most in-demand stallions, the PDJF Great American Quarter Horse Stallion Season Auction will offer breeders a final opportunity to secure seasons to 2024 #1 Leading First Crop Sire KJ Mucho Macho Man and 2-time Champion and 2025 #1 Leading First Crop Sire Dulce Sin Tacha. The online auction opens Monday, January 19, at noon (CST) on SaleRing.net and will close Thursday, January 29, at 7 p.m. (CST), with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting the Permanently Disabled Jockeys’ Fund (PDJF).

The closed-book status of both stallions makes this auction the last chance for breeders to secure seasons to either sire ahead of the upcoming breeding season. Along with those headliners, the auction will feature many other outstanding Quarter Horse stallions.

Founded in 2006 by leaders within the Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse industries, the Permanently Disabled Jockeys’ Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to former jockeys who have suffered catastrophic, life-altering injuries sustained on the racetrack. To date, the PDJF has distributed approximately $15 million to permanently disabled jockeys, many of whom live with paralysis or traumatic brain injuries.

Additional information about the PDJF Great American Quarter Horse Stallion Season Auction, including bidding details and the full catalog, will be available at SaleRing.net. For more information about the Permanently Disabled Jockeys’ Fund or to make a donation, visit pdjf.org.
