OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–DECEMBER 11, 2025–The Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association (OQHRA) has launched a new racing industry survey to gather insight from owners, trainers, breeders, jockeys, and other participants involved in Quarter Horse, Paint, and Appaloosa racing.

The survey takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete and is intended to help identify what influences racing decisions, the challenges horsemen are facing, and the priorities that matter most as the sport continues to evolve.
“Our goal is simple. We want to be an association that serves our members well. To do that, we need to know what is working, what is not, and what our members truly need. This survey gives us the opportunity to hear directly from them so we can focus our efforts where they matter most,” said OQHRA Executive Director Krissy Bamberg.
The information gathered will also help shape planning for an upcoming summit OQHRA is organizing for leaders across all states that conduct Quarter Horse racing. The summit will bring together regulators, racetrack representatives, horsemen’s organizations, and other industry partners. Its purpose is to strengthen integrity efforts, expand racing opportunities, and work toward more uniform rules and penalties across jurisdictions. Input from the survey will provide valuable context as discussions move forward.
OQHRA encourages anyone involved in the racing industry to participate and to share the survey with others who may offer useful insight.
