GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—NOVEMBER 16, 2025—StallioneSearch concludes its webcast coverage of the 2025 Texas Classic Futurity (G1), Texas Classic Derby (G1), and Texas Classic Oaks—presented by Purina Feeds—from Lone Star Park.
In this episode, StallioneSearch correspondent Bailey Ivey provides a full breakdown of Saturday night’s $281,505 Texas Classic Derby (G1), featuring post-race interviews with AQHA World Champion Jockey Christian Ramos and AQHA World Champion Trainer Marc Jungers.
The spotlight belonged to the Jungers-trained Just Dulce, who delivered a thrilling stretch run to capture the Grade 1 classic. The son of Jess Good Candy stopped the timer in 21.296 seconds for 440 yards, earning a 99 speed index while battling a 6 mph headwind over a fast track.
A $385,000 Ruidoso Select Sale graduate, Just Dulce previously qualified for the Rainbow Futurity (G1) and is a full brother to Dulce Sin Tacha, a champion now emerging as a leading first-crop sire of 2025.
The victory solidifies Just Dulce’s place among this year’s standout 3-year-olds and caps an impressive campaign for the Jungers barn.
