All American Derby(G1) winner FDD Dreams is expected to make his next start in the Los Alamitos Super Derby trials on October 19.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA–SEPTEMBER 19, 2025–Political Twist and FDD Dreams, the nation’s second and third leading money earners in 2025, arrived at Los Alamitos in preparation for major Grade 1 races in the upcoming months.

Trained by Xavier Rodriguez for La Feliz Montana Ranch and Ray Willis, Political Twist is second in earnings this year with $1,059,017. The 2-year-old gelding by leading sire Apollitical Jess has won five of six starts this year, his only blemish being a close second-place finish in the Grade 1 $3,000,000 All American Futurity on Labor Day.

He won the Grade 1 Ruidoso Futurity and the Grade 2 West Texas Futurity. Political Twist is eligible for the Golden State Million trials on October 4.

La Feliz Montana also owns FDD Dreams, the All American Derby(G1) winner, and has won four of five starts this year and $884,524 in earnings.

The Ruidoso Derby winner is already a millionaire in his career. The son of five-time world champion sire FDD Dynasty is here for the Los Alamitos Super Derby trials on October 19 and the Grade 1 Champion of Champions.
