RMQHA released the 025 Quarter Horse Stakes Schedule at Bally’s Arapahoe Park in Aurora, Colorado today.

AURORA, CO –SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 – The Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association (RMQHA) proudly announces the 2025 Quarter Horse Stakes Schedule at Bally’s Arapahoe Park in Aurora, Colorado.

Live racing returns to Arapahoe Park on Friday, September 12, 2025. Racing is scheduled at 1:00 PM every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the 30-day meet, which runs through Sunday, November 16, 2025.

This year’s meet will showcase four Quarter Horse stakes races and a full slate of futurities and derbies. The RMQHA-sponsored, Colorado Bred Cherry Creek Futurity and Lucile Rowe Derby will be a main attraction for the state-bred breeders who have patiently waited to run in their home state. In comparison, entries continue to grow for the open Mile High Futurity and Mile High Derby, which will surely make for a great season of racing for the state of Colorado.

The first condition book and stall application for the fall meet is now available online at the Arapahoe Park Horsemen’s page.

2025 Entry Requirements
Quarter Horse entries must meet the following veterinary requirements:

> Coggins test dated within 30 days.
> Piroplasmosis test within 365 days.
> Certificate of veterinary inspection within 30 days of entering
   the stable area.
