OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–JUNE 1, 2025–StallioneSearch.com continues its webcast coverage of the 2025 Heritage Place Futurity (G1), Heritage Place Derby (G2), and Heritage Place Oaks (G2) weekend from Remington Park in Oklahoma City.
In this episode, we feature the running of the $244,000 Heritage Place Derby (G2), one of the premier graded stakes on a 12-race card that brought the 2025 Remington Park Quarter Horse meet to a close.
House Of Lords, a 3-year-old gelding by Flying Cowboy 123, surged to a commanding 1 1/4-length victory, covering 400 yards in 19.344 seconds over a fast track. Ridden by champion jockey Francisco Calderon and trained by Victor Rodriguez-Flores for Valeriano Racing Stables LLC, the chestnut gelding earned $102,480 for the win.
Bred by Buck Way Ranch LLC, House Of Lords was originally a $65,000 purchase at the 2023 Ruidoso Yearling Sale and has now won both of his starts in 2025.
