ELGIN, TX—APRIL 8, 2020—Nominations for the 2020 TQHA Sires' Cup races are due Wednesday, April 15. Nominations are open to foals sired by TQHA Sires' Cup eligible stallions.

A $350 nomination fee must be post-marked on or before Wednesday, April 15 to nominate AQHA foals of 2018 to the $75,000-added 2020 TQHA Sires' Cup Futurity(RG3). Trials for the 350 yard race are scheduled for August 14, 2020 at Retama Park and the final will be contested on August 29.

A $350 nomination fee must be post-marked on or before Wednesday, April 15 to nominate AQHA foals of 2017 to the $50,000-added 2020 TQHA Sires' Cup Derby. Trials for the 400 yard race are scheduled for August 15, 2020 at Retama Park and the final will be contested on August 29.

A TQHA Sires' Cup Juvenile will be run in the event there are more than 110 or horses who remain eligible to enter the trials.

Nominators must be a current member of the TQHA at time of nomination, membership dues, if necessary, should be included with nomination.

Completed nomination blanks must be postmarked and mailed no later than April 15, 2020 to: Texas Quarter Horse Association, 14 N. Main, Suite B, Elgin, TX 78621.

The remaining 2020 payment schedule for the TQHA Sires' Cup Series:

• May 15, 2020 / $350 – Late nomination $1,000
• June 15, 2020 / $350 – Late nomination $2,000
• To Enter Trials $500*
• Total $1,550
• $5,000 Supplemental at "Time of Entry" to trials.
