The 2023 Arizona Quarter Racing Association Stallion Service Auction is currently underway and will continue through January 31st at 6:00 p.m. (MT).

THATCHER, AZ—JANUARY 11, 2023—The annual Arizona Quarter Racing Association Stallion Service Auction is currently underway and will continue through January 31st at 6:00 p.m. (MT).

All progeny from a stallion sold in the 2023 service auction will be eligible for the 2026 Desert Classic Futurity and 2027 Desert Classic Derby series. The Desert Classic Futurity is run every April at Turf Paradise with an estimated purse of $100,000.

"AQRA thanks all of the stallion owners who donate breedings and to the breeders who purchase them to support our organization," Loretta Brasher Executive Director said. "Money collected for the sold breedings each year are added to the futurity purse," she added.

The winning bidder for each breeding must submit a check made out to AQRA Stallion Service Auction or pay by credit card within five (5) days of auction closure. AQRA pays all farm fees. All other fees including, mare care, vet charges and shipped semen fees are the mare owners responsibility.
