BEAR RIVER, WY–OCTOBER 9, 2022–A Sweet Jess SI 90, a half-brother to multiple stakes sires One Dashing Eagle and One Sweet Jess has been purchased by Trent Woods, from Cavenaugh Quarter Horses, will stand the 2023 season at Woods Farm near Bear River, Wyoming. His fee has been set at $1,500.

Woods Farm also stands multiple stakes sires Bodacious Dash and Corona Surfer.

The only son of Leading of Sire Apollitical Jess standing in Wyoming, A Sweet Jess' first crop arrived in 2022.

The second high-selling yearling at the 2018 Ruidoso Select Sale for $300,000, A Sweet Jess is a son of leading sire Apollitical Jess from the "blue hen" mare One Sweet Dash by First Down Dash. He won or placed in three of eight career starts.

World champion Apollitical Jess SI 107 ($1,399,831), won the Los Alamitos Super Derby(G1), Champion of Champions(G1) and was second in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity(G1) and All American Derby(G1).

Apollitical Jess is the industry's leading sire of money earners again in 2022 with 28 stakes winners and nearly $7 million dollars through September 30. With more than a $3 million lead, as of last week, the prolific sire should secure his fifth leading General Sire of Money Earners title in 2022.

From nine crops to race, Apollitical Jess has sired 559 winners, 10 champions, 203 black type (24%), earners of over $54 million and average earnings of $63,500, through September 30.
