Best Not To Judge Duels For Idaho Bred Maiden Frolic Stakes Victory at Pocatello Downs Friday

POCATELLO, ID—JUNE 24, 2022—Best Not To Judge defeated La Reyna Del Norte by a nose in the $7,500 Idaho Bred Maiden Frolic Stakes (not black type) Friday evening at Pocatello Downs.

Under jockey Oscar Villa, Best Not To Judge dueled for the win while completing the 350 yards in :18.238 seconds, an 80 speed index into a 20 mph crosswind. It was the second win three starts this season for the daughter of Best Advice.

Trainer Ramiro Fregoso conditions the Idaho homebred for owner-breeder Cameron and Leanne Mulrony.  The $4,500 winner's purse more than doubled the gray filly's earnings total to $8,210.  She is out of the Judge Cash mare Judge Charlotte.

Runner-up La Reyna Del Norte picked up $1,875 for her second-place effort. Leading trainer Riley Moosman saddled the daughter multiple stakes sire Corona Czech for owner-breeder Jesus Molilna. Jesus Valenzuela rode the Idaho-bred out of Br Tacked In Grace by Rc Best Bet.

Rtm Finn, a 3-year-old One Sweet Jess gelding, finished one-length back to earn $1,125 for owner RTM Stables LLC. Mark Hanson trains the gray gelding out of RTM Good Vibrations by Maknmoves. Susan Hanson is the breeder.

Bw Easy Wagon and Chew Chew Society completed the field.
