SUNLAND PARK, NM–MARCH 29, 2024–
Ten aged sprinters, led by Grade 1 winner Our Secret Habit, are entered back in Sunday's 400-yard, $108,075 West Texas Maturity (G3) at Sunland Park.

A 4-year-old son of Hez Our Secret trained by Jorge Morales-Flores for owner Rancho Garambuyo, Our Secret Habit has earned $139,023 from 15 starts, and he ended his sophomore campaign with an upset victory at odds of 28-1 in the December 17, $125,000 Zia Park Championship (G1) at Zia Park.

Our Secret Habit drew post 8 and will be ridden by Jose Luis Enriquez.

KJ Bootscootin Jess, the fastest qualifier, has won his last three outs, including the last of three West Texas Maturity trials on March 10. Wes Giles trains the homebred 4-year-old son of world champion Apollitical Jess for owners John Lee, Kathy Lee, and Ruben Mares.

KJ Bootscootin Jess drew post 6 and will be ridden by Adrian Ramos.
