Longtime TJCIS Director of Marketing Susan Martin Retires

LEXINGTON, KY–MARCH 3, 2024–Susan Martin, longtime Director of Marketing for The Jockey Club Information Systems, has retired after 37 with the company.

The Jockey Club Information Systems furnishes StallioneSearch.com with daily and weekly data that produces the Leading Board, Leading Sire's Lists, Member Stallion Pages, Race Results, Quick Stakes, and much more.

Martin was instrumental in getting the agreement between StallioneSearch.com and TJCIS 20 years ago.

"Susan was the first person I called when I came up with the idea for StallioneSearch," David Smith, CEO of StallioneSearch, LLC said. "I discussed my idea with her and asked if she thought TJCIS could provide us the digital data needed to make the site a reality."

Martin and Smith had met at the Vessels Sale in California a few years before when she was the head of Quarter Horse information for TJCIS. They struck up a friendship that lasted 20 years.

Martin called back within in a few days and said that if the new company could get AQHA's approval, they  (TJCIS) could host the site and do the required programming. A year later the new company was launched.

"It has truly been a pleasure working with you over the many years," Susan said last week an email. "I'm so pleased of the long-time relationship TJCIS and you have had – you are a very special customer and friend!"

"StallioneSearch wants to thank Susan for the important role she played in launching a startup that has become the digital leader for information for Quarter Horse racing enthusiasts," Smith added.
