AUSTIN, TX—FEBRUARY 12, 2016—Another meeting of the Texas Horse Racing Commission has been set for Thursday, February 18 in Austin.

The most recent meeting, earlier this week (Feb. 9), was adjourned after members were served a restraining order filed by the Texas Greyhound Association to prevent them from taking any action to end historical racing in Texas.

Proposed appeal of historical racing is again listed on the commissions agenda published at http://www.txrc.texas.gov/agency/meetings/agendas/a20160218.pdf for Thursday's meeting.

Unless another court intercedes the restraining order will still be effect on February 18.
