Oklahoma Supreme Court Denies Sanchez-Munoz Petition
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—OCTOBER 8, 2015—Earlier this week by a unanimous decision the Oklahoma Supreme Court denied a petition for certiorari request by Roberto Sanchez-Munoz and Alejandro Sanchez-Munoz.
The ruling means that the penalties assessed by the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission were upheld, and the ten purses currently held by the bookkeeper at Remington Park can now be redistributed based on disqualification of the Sanchez-Munoz horses that were found to have dermorphin in their post race tests.
The ten races to be redistributed were ran at Remington Park between April and the end of May, 2012.
