Wyoming-Breds Take Center Stage In 307HR Wyoming Bred Classic Stakes At Wyoming Downs

EVANSTON, WY–JUNE 21, 2026–The Friday card at Wyoming Downs will kick off a weekend dedicated to Wyoming-Bred runners, as a ten-race program gets underway with a first post of 3:00 p.m. The featured event is the $35,000-added 307HR Wyoming Bred Classic Stakes, which will showcase a competitive field of older state-bred runners.

Nine Wyoming-Breds are scheduled to load at the gate at approximately 6:20 p.m. for the 400-yard feature, with several accomplished runners returning to compete for one of the top prizes of the meet.

Leading the field is Yo Morning Delite, the race's top money earner. The six-year-old gelding has compiled 19 career victories, posted multiple Triple-A speed indexes, and earned $242,731 for owner and breeder Gerald F. Kaul.

The son of Brindis Por Cayenne, out of the Southern Corona mare Rs Afternoon Delite, is trained by Jess R. Matt. He will break from post four with regular rider Jacob Cardenas aboard.

Among his top challengers is Jess a Dash of Class, a four-year-old mare coming off a runner-up finish in the Energy Downs 307 Fillies and Mares Stakes. She has earned eight wins, three second-place finishes, and two thirds, earning $212,829 for owner Lori Nebeker.

The daughter of Jess Paint Me out of the Winners Version mare Steffiesclassic Dash was bred in Wyoming by Ron and Laurie Moosman. Trained by Kylie Valenzuela, she will start from post two with jockey Jose J. Olivo.

The 307HR Wyoming Bred Classic Stakes highlights an afternoon that kicks off a weekend focused on Wyoming-Bred racing. With proven stakes performers and accomplished veterans entered, Friday's feature is expected to set the tone for a strong weekend of competition at Wyoming Downs.
