GILLETTE, WY–MAY 21, 2026–The Saturday afternoon program at Energy Downs 307 Horse Racing is shaping up to be an exciting showcase of Quarter Horse talent, highlighted by a ten-race card featuring the $38,000 Wyoming Oaks. The featured event is scheduled as race seven, with ten talented fillies and mares aged three and up set to battle over 350 yards at approximately 4:30 PM.
Leading the field as the 7-2 morning-line favorite is One Fine Fancy, a classy four-year-old mare making her first start of the season. Despite the layoff, the mare brings an impressive résumé into Saturday’s feature, with five wins and five runner-up finishes in fourteen career starts and $70,920 in earnings.
The accomplished mare was purchased earlier this year for $32,000 at the 2026 Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale by Hemsley Ranch and Lance Hemsley. She now looks to add another major victory to her record.
Bred in Oklahoma by Rito Sosa, One Fine Fancy is by Pyc Fun N Fancy and out of the This Snow Is Royal mare Snow Clouds. Trainer Savana Canales ships in with a strong contender and will once again team up with her husband, jockey Jesus J. Canales, as the pair look to guide the talented mare to victory from post position five.
The Wyoming Oaks field brings together a competitive mix of seasoned mares and rising contenders, setting the stage for a thrilling all-female showdown. With plenty of early speed in the lineup and several proven runners returning to action, fans can expect an exciting dash from gate to wire in one of the afternoon's marquee events.
The first post for the Saturday card at Energy Downs 307 Horse Racing is scheduled for 1:30 PM, and the Wyoming Oaks is sure to be one of the day’s most anticipated races.
