PHOENIX, AZ–MARCH 16, 2026–
The Saturday card at Turf Paradise will feature an eight-race program highlighted early on by the $32,800 Spring Fling Stakes. Scheduled as the second race on the afternoon card, the 350-yard event will showcase a field of ten fillies and mares three-years-old and upward, with post time expected at approximately 2:50 PM.

Jes Relentless enters the stakes as the 3-1 morning line favorite, bringing proven stakes form and consistency into the event. The Louisiana-bred mare has already shown strong form this season, capturing a victory against optional claimer company while also finishing second in the Allred Brothers Stakes. Her recent efforts continue the momentum she carried out of her three-year-old campaign in 2025, which concluded with an impressive victory in the Mike Hastings Memorial Stakes, establishing her as a reliable performer against quality competition.

The mare is sired by leading stallion Hes Relentless and is out of Jess All That by Corona Cartel. She was bred in Louisiana by Tom or Bill Maher and is trained by Heber Deyta-Melendez. Jes Relentless will break from post position three with regular rider Brian C. Barraza retaining the mount.

Kj Flashy Girl enters the race as a 4-1 morning line contender and could pose a serious challenge to the favorite if she leaves the starting gate sharply. The four-year-old mare has begun her season in strong form, recording a victory against optional claiming company while also finishing fourth and second in recent starts against similar competition. Her ability to stay competitive in these fields suggests she will be a major factor once the gates open.

Kj Flashy Girl is sired by Big Daddy Cartel and out of Kj Hot Flash by First Moonflash. The Arizona-bred mare was bred by John and Kathy Lee and is owned and trained by Alex J. Torres-Casas. She will break from post position four with Kevin Carbajal aboard.

With ten fillies and mares set to line up in the starting gate, the $32,800 Spring Fling Stakes promises a competitive dash down the Turf Paradise straightaway. The 350-yard event should provide an exciting early highlight on the afternoon card as several seasoned runners look to secure a stakes victory and build momentum for the remainder of the racing season.
