OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MARCH 13, 2026–This Saturday at Remington Park, an eleven-race card will be contested featuring the Grade 2 $50,000 Decketta Stakes and the Grade 2 $50,000 Eastex Stakes. The evening program is scheduled to begin at approximately 6:00 PM, building momentum throughout the night for the two feature events that will be contested in races ten and eleven.
Race ten presents the Grade 2 $50,000 Decketta Stakes, set for 350 yards and featuring fillies and mares three-years-old and upward. The race has drawn a competitive lineup, loaded with accomplished runners, including several graded-stakes winners.
Jessies First Card enters the field as the 5-2 morning-line favorite. The four-year-old mare has captured four career victories but has yet to secure a stakes score, making the Decketta a key opportunity to establish herself at the graded level. Despite entering as the least accomplished earner in the field with $70,782, her consistent form makes her a serious contender.
Bred and owned by Rito Sosa, Jessies First Card is sired by Docs Best Card and out of Jess Proved Youwrong by Apollitical Jess. The Oklahoma-bred mare was bred by Rito Sosa and Jose E. Guzman. Trainer Josue Jacob Garcia will send her to post from post position four with Juan Pulido named to ride.
Breaking from the rail at 4-1 morning-line odds is Eyesa Wagon My Tale, a four-year-old mare shipping in from California. She closed out her three-year-old season with a victory in the $22,000 A Ransom Handicap and also captured the Grade 3 Jack Brooks Stakes during her campaign. In 2026 she has remained competitive, finishing on the board in both the Grade 1 James Dreyer Charger Bar Handicap and the Grade 3 Denim N Diamonds Handicap. Her consistent performances have pushed her lifetime earnings to $114,270.
Eyesa Wagon My Tale is by Wagon Tales and out of Eyesa Candy Chick by Country Chicks Man. She was bred in Oklahoma by Randy and Stacy Hill and races for Leto Land and Cattle, LLC. Trainer Marc Jungers conditions the mare, and jockey Edwin E. Escobedo will have the call.
The outside portion of the field features the top earners in the lineup, including Alliekat Dynasty at 9-2 odds. The accomplished mare brings a strong résumé to the race, highlighted by victories in the 2023 RG3 FL Lady Bug Stakes, the 2024 Grade 2 Decketta Stakes, and the 2025 Grade 2 Easy Date Stakes. She was also honored as 2025 Oklahoma Champion Aged Mare, making her one of the most decorated runners in the field.
The eleventh and final race of the evening will showcase the Grade 2 $50,000 Eastex Stakes, also contested at 350 yards for three-year-olds and upward. The race has drawn a field of ten competitors consisting of nine geldings or colts and a single filly.
Outtasyght enters the Eastex as the 2-1 morning-line favorite. The four-year-old gelding ended his three-year-old season in impressive fashion with a victory in the Grade 1 $926,000 Los Alamitos Super Derby. With four career wins, he has already earned $221,548 for owners Dunn Ranch, who purchased him for $320,000 at the Heritage Place Sale.
Outtasyght is sired by Apollitical Jess and out of Eye Popping by Mr Eye Opener. The Texas-bred gelding was bred by Bobby D. Cox and is trained by Jed Vane. He will break from post position eight with Francisco Calderon in the irons.
The lone filly in the Eastex Stakes field is Js Freightrain, who will break from the rail at 9-2 morning-line odds. She closed her three-year-old season with a victory in the $100,000 Hobbs America Derby and followed that effort with a strong runner-up finish in the $248,000 Texas Classic Oaks. A six-time winner, she has accumulated lifetime earnings of $208,027 for owner Marisol Alvardo.
Js Freightrain is sired by Freighttrain B and out of As And Js by Apollitical Jess. The Oklahoma-bred filly was bred by her trainer Leonardo Alcala. Jockey Juan Pulido will once again be aboard as she attempts to prove she belongs among the top runners in the division.
With multiple graded stakes winners and proven competitors set to line up in both feature races, Saturday night’s program promises an exciting finish for fans and bettors alike as the evening culminates with the 350-yard Grade 2 $50,000 Eastex Stakes.
