Joiner won the 2018 Two Million with Scott Bryant’s Flash And Roll. Francisco Calderon pilots Midnight Cowboy 123 from post number three.
This excellent contest will also feature Johnny Trotter’s Famous Talk, who was third in his All American Futurity trial. SR Racing Stables’ Cheap Bar, second in his Ed Burke Million trial and third in his Golden State Million trial, will also be in action in this event.
The ninth race is an allowance feature led by G2 Kindergarten finalist Relentless Trick DB and Rainbow Futurity trial winner WR Desperado. Owned by Dale Boydston, Relentless Trick DB won a maiden race last summer and has also been knocking heads with allowance foes.
WR Desperado, who is owned by Raymond and Lainie Whitmire and also trained by Justin Joiner, was third in his All American Futurity trial. He also posted runner-up effort in a Heritage Place Futurity trial. WR Desperado’s dam is the great 2020 AQHA World Champion Whistle Stop Cape.
