ARAPAHOE, CO–OCTOBER 30, 2025—Saturday’s eight-race program at Arapahoe Park will be highlighted by the $15,000 Leo Beau Dash Stakes, a 400-yard sprint for three-year-olds and older scheduled to go off at approximately 1:54 PM. The featured race has drawn a competitive field of ten seasoned runners, promising a fast and closely contested dash down the straightaway.
Breaking from the rail in post position one is Presido Pete, a four-year-old homebred sorrel horse who enters the stakes in peak form. Sired by The Marfa Lights and out of Tahiti Wave (by Wave Carver), Presido Pete was bred in Colorado by his owner Francisco J. Cornejo.
The talented runner recently captured the $17,000 Dolls Prodigy Stakes, his seventh career victory, pushing his lifetime earnings to $111,772. Trained by Haley N. Hobbs, Presido Pete will once again be piloted by Fernando Fonseca-Soto, who guided him to that latest score.
Another key contender looking to make an impact is Jess No Secrets, a seasoned six-year-old gelding who will break from post seven. The veteran competitor has faced tough company in recent starts but brings a solid record that includes eight wins, one second, and seven third-place finishes, with total earnings of $89,396.
Bred and raced by Ross V. Alire, the gelding is by No Secrets Here and out of Jess Breeze (by Feature Mr Jess). Rick E. Scudder handles the conditioning duties, while Jacob Cardenas has the riding call.
With a mix of proven stakes winners and consistent performers, the Leo Beau Dash Stakes is a wide-open affair that should deliver an exciting finish for bettors and fans alike. As ten horses line up to go 400 yards, early speed and a clean break from the gate will be crucial in determining who claims the top prize in one of Arapahoe Park’s feature events of the weekend.
The Arapahoe Park races can be watched on Q-Racing Video.
