CLAREMORE, OK–OCTOBER 23, 2025—The Sunday racing program at Will Rogers Downs will feature a ten-race card highlighted by eight trial heats for the Black Gold Fillies Championship. A total of sixty-four entrants will go 400 yards in search of one of the ten fastest qualifying times to return for the $116,250-added Black Gold Fillies Futurity Championship Final on November 11.
The trials will be contested races two through nine, with first post set for 1:00 p.m. (CDT).
Atsi Mondy is listed as the 8-5 morning-line favorite in the second race. The filly has started six times and most recently finished second by half a length in the $304,000 Grade 3 Valley Junction Futurity, boosting her earnings to $73,336 for owner and breeder Brenda Reiswig.
Atsi Monday is sired by Cyber Mondy and out of the mare Atsi Hero by Valiant Hero. Jason L. Olmstead trains her and will start from post position three under jockey Ramiro H. Garcia.
The fifth race features Blowin in the Wind as the 2-1 morning-line favorite. The filly captured the $177,000 Grade 3 Speedhorse Futurity and has finished in the money in all five career starts, amassing $81,255 in earnings for owner Brant Barley.
Bred in Oklahoma by Mary and Jack W. Evans Jr., Blowin in the Wind is by Kvn Corona and out of Evans Express by Tres Seis. Josue Jacob Garcia trains her and will break from the inside post position one with Juan Pulido in the irons.
The final trial, race nine, will include Kvn Design, the top money earner in the field after her recent victory in the $219,000 Restricted Grade 2 Mystery Futurity. The undefeated filly has won all four of her starts, earning $111,918 for owner Saul Colin.
Bred by Geo H. Suthers, Kvn Design is by Kvn Corona, and out of Okey Design is by Okey Dokey Dale. Luz Chavira conditions her and will race from post position five with jockey Roman Cruz aboard.
Each of these fillies will aim to post one of the ten fastest times from Sunday’s eight trial heats to secure a spot in the November 11 Black Gold Fillies Futurity Championship Final at Will Rogers Downs.
