Beyond Repair headlines the $30,000 Fred Scane Stakes on Sunday night at Los Alamitos.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA–JUNE 6, 2025–A trio of Robert Adair Kindergarten Futurity finalists will headline the running of the $30,000 Fred Scane Stakes at 300 yards on Sunday night at Los Alamitos.

The Kindergarten graduates will be led by Valentin Zamudio, Paul Penuelas and Santos Montemayor’s Beyond Repair, who posted the top time for the Kindergarten before running fifth in the final.

The son of Fly Thru The Fire won his first two career starts, including a ¾ length win when posting the top Kindergarten time in a race that also featured eventual Kindergarten finalists Sentella Olimpia and Relentless Trick DB.

He was solid in the Kindergarten final and should be one of the top contenders in the Fred Scane. Ruben Lozano will ride from post number one.

Owned by the partnership of Jose Flores, Layne Sprouse and Marta and Mark Winslow, Fireworks Over Paris had the highest Kindergarten finish among the three returning for this race when posting an excellent second place finish behind the impressive winner Beuteeful. Fireworks Over Paris, who also won her Kindergarten trial, has finished in the top two in all three of her career starts.

The other Kindergarten finalist back for the Fred Scane is Salvador Flores, Jr.’s Elmer Romero, who ran second to Wake Up Lil Suze in a hard-fought Kindergarten trial before finishing seventh in the final after a troubled start. The Felix Gonzalez-trainee should fit nicely in this race and is from a family of quick and successful runners.

The field will include maiden winners Separatist Tornado, Shinning Favorite, and JJ The Boss.
