RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—JUNE 3, 2025—Entice Me Ona Monday, a sharp trial runner-up, headlines a full field of 2-year-olds set for Sunday’s $100,000 Ruidoso Quarter Horse Juvenile Stakes at Ruidoso Downs.

The 350-yard feature, restricted to the five fastest non-qualifiers from each trial day for the Ruidoso Futurity, will go as Race 8 with a scheduled post of 4:10 p.m. (MDT).

Installed as the 5-2 morning-line favorite, restricted G1-placed Entice Me Ona Monday enters with one win and one second in three starts and earnings of $88,936. The son of #2 leading first-crop sire Cyber Monday out of Enticilizeur by Make It Anywhere is trained by Jason Olmstead for Tejas Troubadours and was bred in Oklahoma by Monty McNair.

He sold for $30,000 at the Heritage Place Yearling Sale. In his May 24 trial, the gelding finished second by a length in 18.009. Ramiro Garcia will ride from post 1.Fourth in the restricted Grade 1 Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity two races back at Remington Park, Entice Me Ona Monday has earned $88,936 in three starts.

The second choice on the morning line is Remarkable Cowgirl at 7-2. A daughter of leading 2-year-old sire Flying Cowboy 123 out of Freighttrain Reba by Freighttrain B, she is owned and bred in Texas by Felix Rodriguez and Sergio Holguin.

Trained by Eric Valenzuela, Remarkable Cowgirl broke her maiden in her March debut in the Louisiana Downs Futurity trials and returned May 24 to finish a closing third in her trial at Ruidoso to finalist Russ Gus and Entice Me Ona Monday. She will break from post 4 with jockey Jordy S. Muniz in the irons.

Third choice Its a Good Valentine is listed at 9-2 for trainer Fred Danley and owners J and SM, Inc. and Ross Roark. The $90,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling graduate has won two of three, including a sharp trial win May 23 in 17.929.

The Utah-bred gelding is by champion/champion sire Jess Good Candy out of Valiantinecandyrocks by Valiant Hero, and he earned black-type earlier this spring with a third-place finish in the Grade 2 $365,000 West Texas Futurity at Sunland Park. Bryan Candanosa will be aboard from post 5.
