Stakes winner Piloted By An Angel will head Sunday's $45,000 Cherokee Overnight Stakes at The Red Mile.

LEXINGTON, KY–MARCH 14, 2024–Seven sprinters, led by early favorite Piloted By An Angel, will square off in Sunday's 220-yard, $45,000 Cherokee Overnight Stakes at The Red Mile.

Trained by Anthony Cunningham for owner Salvador Villalobos, Piloted By Angel will be making the first start of her 4-year-old season. The daughter of Paint My Pilot earned $37,260 from four outs last year, and he ended his sophomore season with a second-place finish, 1 1/4 lengths behind winner Namgis Kodiak Kiss, in the October 28, 400-yard QHRA of Indiana Derby at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

Piloted By An Angel drew post 5 and will be ridden by Francisco Quintero.
