BY MICHAEL CUSORTELLI
PHOENIX, AZ–FEBRUARY 3, 2024–Charlies Fast Man, a 6-year-old son of champion Apollitical Blood and a stakes winner during the Lone Star Park fall meet, heads a field of 12 sprinters entered in Wednesday's 300-yard, $30,000 Wayne Brasher Memorial Stakes at Turf Paradise.
Trained by Diego Cervantes for owner Jose Aguilar Mendoza, Charlies Fast Man will be making his season debut off of a 5-year-old campaign during which he earned $33,475 from eight races and scored a wire-to-wire, 1 1/2-length victory in the 440-yard, $35,000 Equineline Stakes on the October 21 Bank of America Challenge Championships undercard at Lone Star Park.
Charlies Fast Man drew the rail post and will be ridden by Alan Hernandez.
