Lynnder 16 to Make Fourth Consecutive Start in Grade 1 Q-Racing Video Distaff Challenge Championship

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX--OCTOBER 18, 2023--Lynnder 16, a 7-year-old daughter of world champion Apollitical Jess racing for Tom Maher and Richard L. Tobin, heads a field of 10 fillies and mares entered in Saturday's 400-yard, $100,000 Q-Racing Video Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) at Lone Star Park.

Lynnder 16 brings in a three-race win streak that includes a nose victory in the August 20, $39,000 Q-Racing Video Prairie Meadows Distaff Challenge (G3), and a 1 1/2-length win in the October 1, $36,000 Q-Racing Video Will Rogers Distaff Challenge. The mare has won four graded stakes, including the 2020 AQHA Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) at Albuquerque Downs, and she will be making her fourth consecutive start in the Distaff Challenge Championship.

Lynnder 16 drew post 7 and will be ridden by Edwin Escobedo for trainer Jason Olmstead.

Marjory Harrison's Pattys Saint drew post 2 and will be ridden by Jesus Virgen for trainer Heath Hillman. A homebred 5-year-old daughter of the Feature Mr Jess stallion Jess Got Easier, Pattys Saint boasts a four-race win streak at tracks in Wyoming, Oregon, and Idaho, and her two career Grade 1 victories include the 2021 Q-Racing Video Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) at Albuquerque Downs.

Other contenders include Shesa Relentless Gal, a 4-year-old daughter of champion Hes Relentless trained by Manuel R. Rodriguez for owner Elva Rodriguez. Shesa Relentless Gal has banked $82,704 from five outs this year, and her four wins include a half-length victory in the 400-yard, $50,000 Balloon City Stakes (G3) at Albuquerque Downs on September 9.

Shesa Relentless Gal drew post 3 and will be ridden by Esgar Ramirez.
