The Los Alamitos Division of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America kicks off its 7th annual online Stallion Service Auction on Tuesday, December 27.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA—DECEMBER 26, 2022–The Los Alamitos Division of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America is hosting its 7th annual online stallion service auction to raise funds towards its efforts to develop programs to benefit the spiritual needs of those that work in the barn area with racehorses at Los Alamitos Race Course.

Stallion owners have donated the breeding to many of the industry’s top stallions – with still more to be added - to support the Los Alamitos RTCA programs and initiatives. All proceeds from the auction will be used towards the local chaplaincy’s programs.

The Los Alamitos RTCA in partnership with the Quarter Horse Benevolent Foundation, Los Alamitos Race Course and the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Racing Association have managed programs that have included weekly meal distributions strictly for backside personnel working with the horses at Los Alamitos Race Course, holiday events, care packages, weekly fellowship nights and more.

The Los Alamitos RTCA also supply and manage a “Pantry Store” where backside personnel could purchase basic provisions without having to leave the grounds.

Bidding on the stallions kicks off on Tuesday, December 27 and will continue through Tuesday, January 17 at 3 p.m. (Pacific).

With the financial support of the Quarter Horse Benevolent Foundation, PCQHRA and Los Alamitos Race Course plus help from fundraisers like the Online Stallion Auction, the Los Alamitos RTCA provided backside employees a take home meal on Thanksgiving Day and a Christmas Holiday Party. The Thanksgiving event provided approximately 400 meals for its attendees.

This year’s stallion auction features 2023 breedings to many leading stallions. Stallion breeding available for sale include Tell Cartel, Kvn Corona, Uncle D, Docs Best Card, Coronado Cartel, Jess Zoomin, Seperate Interest, The Marfa Lights, Jess Being Valiant, Big Lew , Tarzanito are just a few of the names also part of the online stallion auction roster.

More stallion breedings will be added in the upcoming days.
