Multiple Grade 1-Placed In Hott Pursuit To Enter Stud At Dunn Ranch

WYNNEWOOD, OK–NOVEMBER 9, 2022–In Hott Pursuit SI 93, a multiple grade 1-placed brother to two-time champion Hot Stepper, will stand the 2023 season Dunn Ranch said today. He will stand for a $2,500 introductory fee in 2023.

In Hott Pursuit, a 3-year-old son of leading sire One Famous Eagle, out of Pandorum by Tres Seis, was bred in Texas by Fulton Quien Sabe Ranch, LLC and raced by his owner Dunn Ranch. He was a $220,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling graduate in 2020.

Under the direction of trainer Monty Arrossa In Hott Pursuit won or placed in eight of 10 career starts and earned $358,218. He was second in the Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1), third in the Golden State Million(G1) Futurity and a finalist in the Los Alamitos Super Derby(G1).

His sire AQHA Racing Champion One Famous Eagle SI 101 ($1,387,453) has sired 81 stakes winners, 8 champions, 5 millionaires, 500 winners with earnings of more than $35.5 million.

His top performers include One Dashing Eagle SI 98 (World  Champion, $2,079,065, All American Futurity-G1, etc.), Imperial Eagle SI 106 (champion twice, $1,852,897, All American Futurity-G1, etc.), Hotstepper SI 98 (champion twice, $1,336,359, All American Derby-G1, etc.), Bodacious Eagle-QH SI 104 (World Champion, $1,293,444, Champion of Champions S.-G1, etc.), etc.

In Hott Pursuit's dams is the Grade 3 winning Tres Seis mare Pandorum SI 109 ($70,347) who set a new track record for 350 yards in :17.326 seconds at Sam Houston Race Park.
