Mysterious Cartel Wins $114,350 307 Horse Racing Open Maturity at Wyoming Downs

EVANSTAN, WY–JUNE 21, 2026–Fastest qualifier Mysterious Cartel extended his winning streak to four with a victory in the $114,350 307 Horse Racing Open Maturity on June 21 at Wyoming Downs.

Ridden by Cesar Moreno, the four-year-old gelding broke on top and dueled for the lead throughout before pulling away late to win by 1 1/4 lengths.

Owned by Luis Gonzalez and trained by Adrian Zavala, Mysterious Cartel was bred in Texas by J/R Robicheaux and Spanish Moss Quarter Horses.

The $31,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate is sired by champion Five Bar Cartel and out of the Valiant Hero mare Mysterious Night. His female family includes Dam of Distinction Pandorum ($70,437).

The victory improved his record to 20-9-7-2 and boosted his earnings to $256,836 after collecting the $57,175 winner's share of the purse. The gelding closed out his 2025 campaign with a victory in the Grade 3 AQHA Derby Challenge Championship and has also hit the board in six additional stakes races.

Third-fastest qualifier RLH Fouronthefloor finished second under Jesus Canales. After a good start, the gelding pressed the winner throughout and kept on well to hold the runner-up position.

Owned by Michael McKell and trained by Sergio Canales, RLH Fouronthefloor was bred by R.L. Harrison. The son of Jess Got Easier is out of the Saint Shackleton mare SP Saint Patty. Already an accomplished stakes performer, he owns victories in the Casino at the Downs Stakes and has been stakes-placed multiple times.

The second-place finish increased his career record to 20-8-5-2 with earnings of $100,795.

A Famous Ribbon finished third under David Alvarez Jr. after racing prominently early before evening out late.

Owned by Adrian Aleman and trained by Jorge Paredes, the gelding was bred by Weetona Stanley and sold for $30,000 at the Heritage Place Yearling Sale. He is sired by champion and champion sire One Famous Eagle and out of the winning Corona Cartel mare Fast Prize Ribbon. His female family traces to Broodmare of the Year and Dam of Distinction First Prize Dash.

A Famous Ribbon now owns a record of 23-10-2-3 with earnings of $216,174. His stakes victories include the Los Alamitos Championship Challenge Stakes (G3), Sam Houston Classic Stakes (G2), Grants Pass Championship Challenge Stakes, and James S. Smith Memorial Handicap Stakes.

Uncle Willard finished fourth, followed by Fire of the Mountain, Er Mountain X, DNC Dynasty, DM Nite Hawk, Injeanius, and Cash 23.
